Welcome to the website of CUPE Local 1317!

We proudly represent the dedicated education workers of the Niagara Catholic District School Board. Our members work in schools and at the Board office in a wide range of roles, including Educational Assistants, Child and Youth Workers, Early Childhood Educators, Library Technicians, Administrative and Clerical staff, Information Technology professionals, Custodians, Maintenance and Trades employees, Instructors, and many other education support positions. Together, we provide the essential services that support student learning, well-being, and the day-to-day operation of our schools.

CUPE 1317 is committed to protecting our members’ rights, advocating for fair wages, safe and respectful workplaces, and ensuring every member has a strong voice in the workplace. We believe our union is strongest when members are informed, engaged, and active.
